Why do I need SSL?

SSL stands for “Secured Socket Layer” and provides that cute little padlock on the top of your browser when you visit a website. This means that the browser is encrypting the data sent back and forth between you and the web server.  Why do we care?

Well, for one – it means your credit card data is more safe so if someone grabbed that internet signal, they couldn’t see your information and use it fraudulently!  This is important.. for sure.

It’s also great however, because Google really likes websites that are SSL secured, and gives them favorable search relevance.  Wanna boost your SEO, and your website is not showing that padlock?  Reach out to us and we can set that up for you at a very affordable rate, and make your customers more confident in using your website, AND help Google give you more favorable results!
