…or, are they?? Google Analytics are a free tool that can easily be integrated into anybody’s website. It doesn’t have to be a site we built, or even something recent.  If you want to have ANY idea of who all has been visiting your site, and how often, then Analytics is something you ought to look into.  Of course, we’d be happy to help guide you in down that path. If nothing else, this is a great way for you to find out which pages of your site are getting the most traffic. First of all, don’t panic.  🙂 This is just the latest change in Google’s search algorithm, and while we don’t want to spread fear in the hearts of our customers, we do want you to know that this is a BIG change! Basically, what has happened is that Google has re-written their rules to say that if an individual is on their tablet or smart phone, and searches for a thing,  the search results they get served will be FIRST and foremost, any site that is written to be mobile-friendly. Basically, if you have a website that is not written to resize, realign and change to look and work well on a smart phone, then it’s possible your previous first-page ranking *could* go out the window. If your emails are constantly being sent to recipient’s spam folders, it could be the result of many external links and/or images in the Signature line of your emails! Having images or a bunch of links to outside resources is a common practice among spammers and malware sites, and so many email programs and providers like Outlook or Gmail have filters built into them. When these filters see more of these elements, it assigns that email a higher “spam score”, and might result in your email getting sent to the spam folder! If you have a bunch of images and/or links in your email (especially in the signature), then you may want to think about removing those, or at least reducing them.
